Montrose has been good for numbers of Perch but most are very small. We found larger and keeper sized fish in Belmont. The deepest water in the harbors has been productive.

In 20 ft - 30ft or even 40 ft of water anchoring is fine, but if you are in deeper water you should maintain a 5:1 or 7:1 anchor rode to be anchored properly.
