The noise they all make is testimonial to the fact that the valve train is not happy, thus premature lifter wear. Noise is lash. With lash the rollers skate. Add poor heat treat and you have lifter failures prematurely. Just determine with the dial indicator where it is out of spec. Place the 2X4 against the low side of the rotor and whack the 2X4 with a hammer. Recheck the run out.
