The 1handed R1s are decent for backstab canceling in PvP (hitting an enemy at the moment they backstab you to cancel all damage) though, because they're a fast horizontal sweep. WebCompletely different weapons. One is a straight sword, the other is an ultra greatsword. I personally prefer the AGS, but you should just check both and see which moveset you like better. Since you're only PVE-ing, anything is viable, so just use what you like. I'd also recommend using the Lothric Knight Greatsword once you get it.
